LOFA was established in 1964 for public asset management and disaster recovery support through mutual aid.

LOFA is a special corporation established for developing local finance. Based on the idea of ​​mutual aid to solve financial difficulties in local governments, we implement businesses on disaster recovery, public building refurbishment, local government vessel maintenance, mutual aid compensation, and member support.

Mutual Aid System

 
In mutual aid system, members who share common goals(such as local governments and local public corporations, organizations, cooperatives established by local governments) participate in non-profit business.
In mutual aid system, funds are collected through mutual aid business and used in business for the benefit of members. 
Mutual aid system is operated in a way that members directly participate and make decisions to maximize their benefits.
